WhatsApp Will Not Be Available For Blackberry & Nokia Phones By Year End

Are you Blackberry or Nokia user addicted to WhatsApp? We have bad news for you!!  🙁 

WhatsApp the messaging App which has made Communications a lot more easy and relations complex-ed. WhatsApp the Instant Messaging App that was found in the year 2009 had grabbed interest of masses easily, now the App is attained by Facebook.

The App was most famous for it’s availability on various platform devices whether it was Blackberry, Android, IOS or Nokia Symbian Phones.  But not any more! Company has recently stated their withdrawing of support for certain devices. The post on the Company Blog stated that by the end of 2016, they will be ending support for WhatsApp Messenger on the certain mobile platforms, which are,

  • BlackBerry, including BlackBerry 10
  • Nokia S40
  • Nokia Symbian S60
  • Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
  • Windows Phone 7.1

They concluded the post saying, This was a tough decision for us to make, but the right one in order to give people better ways to keep in touch with friends, family, and loved ones using WhatsApp. If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone before the end of 2016 to continue using WhatsApp.”
